Ten-plus years servicing pools across Perth and Melbourne. Moving to Townsville with my partner — she's a proud Tica, from Costa Rica, which is where the name comes from.

How often should I have my pool serviced in Townsville?

In Townsville's climate, heavy-use and unscreened pools usually want weekly. Screened or lightly-used pools are usually fine fortnightly. We'll tell you honestly which you need at the first visit.

How do chemical costs work?

I bring the chemicals — you don't need a shed full of chlorine. They're charged at cost and itemised on every visit report, so you only pay for exactly what your pool used that day. That's different from "all-inclusive" plans, which bake a buffer into the service fee to cover their worst-case pool — meaning well-maintained pools quietly subsidise the nightmare ones. We don't work that way. Specialty treatments (heavy shock, flocculant, stain removers) are quoted before we apply them.

You're new to Townsville — why should I trust you with my pool?

Fair question — and the answer is this: new to Townsville, not new to pools. I've spent the last 10+ years servicing pools in Perth and Melbourne — weekly routes, rescues, equipment work, the lot.
